Builder Software Tools has created software for homebuilders since its founding in Ottawa in 1996 and now counts many of Canada’s largest homebuilders as customers. BST provides software to help builders manage their business, including modules covering sales of new homes, construction of residential developments, and after-sales service.

BST will remain an independent business and brand overseen by Explorer Software President Carmen Greene and will combine with the resources of the Explorer team, who have experience in the homebuilder market dating to the acquisition of TrueLine Construction and Homebuilder Systems in 2006. With the acquisition of Builder Software Tools, JDM has strengthened its solutions for North American homebuilders.
