Lockdown To Do List for your ERP System

When the world gives you lemons, you make lemonade – right? With the whole country following Level 4 Guidelines and working from home, now is a good time to look at those tasks in your Nimbus System; the ‘To Do’ list that never gets attended to, those niggly things that each month you think – I should update that or there must be a report that can do this? Well the answer is yes – There is always a better way to do things in Nimbus, that can improve your workflow and productivity. So why not take the time to assess your workflow and get rid of as many of these niggles as possible and use your ERP system to its full potential.

Here is our easy action list:

  1. Choose one of your core tasks that you complete using your Nimbus system, assess why you still do it, is it a relevant task or process?
  1. Outline (or document) the task workflow, highlighting the critical stages.
  1. At each stage think about what works and what doesn’t. Taking note of the areas that create real issues, are time consuming or are just annoying.
  1. Share the list with your colleagues. Can they suggest better ways to complete these tasks? Can they show you ways of using the system you weren’t aware of or have forgotten? Do you need more training?

By repeating this process for each of your tasks it should give you a good overview of your workflow. Highlighting areas you can change and areas you may need our help to change or improve. Either way – now is a great time to take a fresh look at what you are doing.
